Map shows Fall Creek Falls State Park, TN. Times vary from Kingsport and Bristol.

Fall Creek Falls is the Tennessee State Parks poster child — a 256-foot free-leap waterfall plus a network of gorge trails, a swim lake, and CCC-era park infrastructure.

You cannot see everything in one afternoon; prioritize the main falls overlook and one gorge trail.

Highlights

  • Fall Creek Falls main overlook
  • Gorge Overlook Trail & Cane Creek Cascades
  • Fall Creek Falls Lake swimming & boating
  • Nature Center & CCC lodge architecture
