Bristol's Christmas parade marches down historic State Street — the Tennessee/Virginia state line — in a dazzling display of floats, marching bands, community organizations, and Santa Claus. The dual-state setting makes Bristol's parade uniquely memorable, as spectators literally straddle two states to watch the festivities. Restaurants and shops along State Street extend hours for the holiday evening. Local businesses deck out their facades in holiday lighting that lines the entire parade route.
