Join us on Friday, July 18, at 7:30 p.m. for an evening where music, heritage, and storytelling meet as The Knackered Ramblers (Mike Compton & Laura Boosinger) take the stage with Eric Brace and Thomm Jutz for a concert celebrating the rich traditions and living histories of American roots music.
In the world of Bluegrass and Appalachian Old-Time music, Mike Compton and Laura Boosinger are among the most respected performers in the genre. Performing together as The Knackered Ramblers–a playful nod to their decades of experience–the duo brings generations of musical heritage and deep knowledge of their genre to every performance. Mike, mentored by Bluegrass legend Bill Monroe, is a Grammy- and IBMA Award-winning musician whose career includes collaborations with icons like John Hartford, Elvis Costello, Norman Blake, and Doc Watson. A long-time advocate for mountain music and culture, Laura’s years spent collecting the stories behind the music bring warmth and authenticity to the stage. Her podcast “Down the Road on the Blue Ridge Music Trails” is featured on WNCW.
Joining them are acclaimed Nashville singer-songwriters Eric Brace and Thomm Jutz, whose partnership blends their respective creative influences into thoughtful songwriting that’s shaped by decades of performance, collaboration, and craftsmanship.
Tickets are just $20. Reserve your seat and join us for this special concert experience.
