Experience the lives and legacy of George and Martha Washington at The Jackson Theatre on Saturday, August 8.
Meet the Washington’s is a family-friendly presentation designed to introduce audiences to the lives, personalities and legacy of George and Martha Washington. Guests will have the opportunity to hear stories from America’s founding era as the Washingtons come to life through engaging first-person interpretation.
George Washington will be portrayed by Daniel Shippey, who also portrays America’s first president in The American Miracle.

This event is part of The Jackson Theatre’s ongoing America 250 programming, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States through engaging historical experiences that bring the nation’s past to life.
