Housed in the beautifully restored 1870 Abingdon freight depot, the Arts Depot serves as Washington County VA's community arts center with gallery space for rotating exhibitions by regional artists, working studio space for resident artist members, and a gift shop selling handmade art and craft by local makers. The depot's historic brick architecture and location in the walkable downtown core make it a natural stop on any Abingdon arts itinerary. Opening receptions for new exhibitions attract the Abingdon creative community monthly.
