Elizabethton Covered Bridge

The Elizabethton Covered Bridge, spanning the Doe River since 1882, is one of the oldest and most photographed covered bridges in Tennessee and a centerpiece of the town's historic identity. The 134-foot Howe truss structure is beautifully maintained and open to pedestrian traffic, offering picture-perfect views up and down the crystal-clear Doe River. The surrounding Riverside Park features walking paths, picnic areas, and fishing access. A genuine piece of living history that has become one of Northeast Tennessee's most iconic landmarks.
