Linville Falls is the most photographed waterfall in the NC mountains — multiple overlooks, short paved paths, and a dramatic gorge.
Grandfather Mountain is a private attraction with its famous Mile-High Swinging Bridge and wildlife habitats; ticketed entry, plan 2 hours minimum.
