City of Elizabethton Parks & Recreation hosts the annual Independence Day celebration at Covered Bridge Park. Free inflatables, live music, food vendors, Little Miss Firecracker pageant (4–5:30pm), patriotic parade through downtown at 6pm, opening ceremony at 7pm, Sail On Beach Boys tribute at 7:30pm, and fireworks ~9:30pm.
