The Tour de Donut is Carter County's most deliciously absurd cycling event — participants in this 16-mile road ride can shave time off their overall clock by consuming donuts at designated rest stops (each donut consumed equals two minutes deducted). Strategy, appetite, and athletic ability combine in hilarious fashion for this beloved community cycling event. The flat-to-rolling course through the Doe River valley is accessible to casual cyclists, and the post-ride party features all remaining donuts. Registration proceeds benefit local cycling infrastructure advocacy.
