Elizabethton's beloved Christmas parade brings the community together for a festive procession through the heart of Carter County's seat, featuring floats, high school marching bands, local organizations, and a jolly Santa Claus. The historic downtown setting and covered bridge neighborhood create a charming backdrop for the annual tradition. Thousands of spectators line the route, and local restaurants offer special holiday menus for the occasion. A warm community celebration that has been a Carter County tradition for decades.
