Appalachian Trail Trail Conservancy Mid-Atlantic Volunteer Blitz
📅 Saturday, October 3, 2026
🕐 8:00am – 11:59pm 📍 Regional Outdoors / Hiking
The Appalachian Trail Conservancy coordinates a regional volunteer trail maintenance blitz each fall, with participants working on critical trail infrastructure across the Tennessee sections of the AT including reroutes, blowdown clearing, water bar installation, and tread work. No experience is necessary as crew leaders provide instruction on trail tools and techniques. Lunch is provided for registered volunteers. A meaningful way to invest a day in the long-term health of one of America's most beloved public lands while meeting fellow outdoor enthusiasts from across the region.
