Support local, small businesses for the holidays with Believe in Bristol's annual Downtown Christmas Open House along State Street on Monday, November 23, 2026, 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm.

State Street comes alive during the holidays with twinkling lights and horse-drawn carriage rides while merchants show their customer appreciation during Downtown Bristol Christmas Open House. Participating businesses stay open late, offer special discounts, and serve refreshments while shoppers stroll between stores in search of that special, one-of-a-kind gift. It's a great way to create memories with friends and family while helping stimulate our local economy as you cross off items on your holiday list.

Stop by the Downtown Center (810 State Street) to embark on a casual horse and carriage ride to soak in the holiday spirit along State Street with friends, family, or that special someone. It's the perfect way to kick-off the holiday season. and feel the warmth and hospitality of downtown Bristol.

Be sure to keep a look out for your favorite decorated window as the downtown merchants will be participating in the "Decked Out Downtown" Merry Merchants Window Decorating Contest! Vote online using the QR code present at participating windows and awards will be given for People's Choice Most Festive Window.
