A major regional agricultural fair at the Appalachian Fairgrounds in Gray drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors over its multi-week run with carnival midway rides, agricultural livestock and garden exhibits, demolition derbies, tractor pulls, grandstand concerts by national country music acts, and 4-H competitions from across the eight-county region. The Appalachian Fair is one of the largest fairs in the Tri-Cities area and a summer institution spanning generations of regional families who return annually as a cherished tradition.
