A juried heritage arts and crafts festival on the grounds of the Carter County Courthouse celebrating traditional Appalachian craft disciplines including chair caning, basket weaving, quilting, woodcarving, and pottery making. Master folk artists demonstrate their work and sell finished pieces alongside fine art photographers and painters documenting the Carter County landscape. Acoustic mountain music on a courthouse square stage provides the soundtrack. A celebration of the living craft heritage that defines the Carter County community.
