A volunteer trail-maintenance weekend coordinated by the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and local trail club, welcoming hikers and outdoor enthusiasts to give back to the iconic footpath through Carter and Washington counties. Participants learn trail drainage, tread work, and blowdown clearing under experienced crew leader guidance. Camping is provided at the trailhead. A deeply rewarding outdoor experience that combines community service with immersion in the Southern Appalachians.
