A guided naturalist walk along the Roan Highlands balds above Carvers Gap timed to coincide with the peak spring wildflower bloom — trillium, wake-robin, Catawba rhododendron buds, and rare Appalachian endemics. Led by Cherokee National Forest botanists and local naturalists with deep knowledge of the Southern Appalachian alpine ecosystem. Limited capacity requires advance registration. One of the most memorable spring nature experiences available anywhere in the Tri-Cities region.
